I'm Saying Yes

I was at Target yesterday, of course in the beauty/cosmetics aisles, and I came across the Yes To products. The packaging caught my eye, so I needed to go take a look. After looking through the different products, I picked up the  Yes To Cucumber facial wipes. These hypoallergenic facial towelettes gently cleanse and remove makeup, according to the packaging.  Here is the description of the product from the Yes To website:

Yes To Cucumbers Hypoallergenic Facial Towelettes gently remove dirt, sweat and makeup (eye makeup too!) without the need to rinse. Whether you're out and about, going for a run, or having a late night, these towelettes make it a snap to refresh on-the-go. Packed with green superfoods these all-natural, biodegradable towelettes naturally exfoliate, detoxify, and rejuvenate all-in-one. Stay gorgeous, and go from zero to clean in seconds! (Yes To

A package comes with 30 wipes. That's a pretty good value for $5.99. This sounds a bit expensive, but it is comparable to other makeup removing wipes. When I opened the wipes up for the first time, I noticed the first wipe was just as moist as the rest. I've noticed that sometimes the first wipe can be dried up compared to the other wipes in the package.

The smell of these wipes is amazing. It didn't have the cucumberey scent that I thought they would have, but I loved the smell of them. They have a fresh, clean smell that I look for in a cleansing towel. I also loved the way my face felt after using this product. Some wipes leave my face feeling greasy. I didn't feel like I had to wash my face again after using them.

These wipes are for sensitive skin. I have one issue with this product. They leave your face with a burning sensation after use. I thought that my face was burning above my eyes because I had just gotten my eyebrows waxed that day. When I used them for a second time later that day, the burning sensation was still there. This only lasted for about three minutes.  It isn't a painful feeling, but my only concern is that these wipes are for sensitive skin types.

Bottom line is that I will be buying these wipes again. They make other kinds of wipes for different skin types, so definitely check that out. You can find their site by clicking on the Yes To link above.

  1. Good post! Been eying these for awhile but wasn't sure how they worked. I have sensitive skin so maybe these won't be a good fit for me, good to know!
